In my kitchen recently there has been lots of chopping, slow roasting, and fresh herbs. You really can’t beat fresh herbs. Especially oregano. If you’ve never cooked with oregano that didn’t come from a jar you’re missing out. It’s amazing!
I’m soaking up every minute of these cooler Arizona days. I know it’s only a matter of time before I’m sweaty everywhere I go and questioning why I moved back here in the first place. Over the weekend it poured so I spent some quality time in my kitchen with myself eating new foods (olive oil ice cream? sure! lasagna? yes!). How do you take advantage of slow, winter weekend days?
